The Roudebush Hall project consisted of a complete renovation and additions to the Georgian style Administration Building on Miami University’s Oxford Campus.  The building houses the Office of the President, the Provost, and the Vice President of Finance, along with administrative staff and the University’s Board Room.

Building additions were designed in matching brick and limestone and were detailed to share the quality and craft of the original building.  The interior of the building was finely detailed with terrazzo floors, wood paneling and wrought iron stair railings to provide a level of finish appropriate for the centrally located University Administration

A new entry portico on the East side of the building provides accessibility, and is fully integrated with the original structure.  The project included evaluation and correction of building envelope issues, such as roofing replacement, masonry restoration, drainage and waterproofing. New energy efficient and stylistically correct windows were installed throughout.

This respectful approach to renovation provides consistent and appropriate exterior design and a refined and contemporary interior, influenced by tradition.
